My name is Michael Eric Martin. I am a husband to Sarah, a father to Aubrey and Elijah, a pastor, and most importantly, a servant of the Lord.

I have been in the ministry for 28 years (21 years of which have been serving as a pastor). Since 2024, I have had the overwhelming privilege to serve as the senior pastor of Meridian Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Although serving in eastern Tennessee, we are originally from western Tennessee. Sarah and I were both raised in Memphis, and Aubrey and Elijah spent their formative years in the Jackson, Tennessee area. We also have deep roots in Alabama after serving ten years at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama. Cullman was the perfect city to raise our children and is a place very near and dear to our hearts.

I am a graduate of Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

With a sincere passion to write, I pray God would take my personal reflections on Scripture and use them for his glory. My prayer is that the Lord would further his kingdom through these theological musings. Oh that people would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!
